Meegan Kennedy received her B.A. from Yale University (magna cum laude), an M.A. in English from University of Virginia and holds a Ph.D. in English from Brown University (2000). Her research interests include history and theory of the British novel and of medical narrative; cultural studies of medicine; history and theory of disciplinarity; gender studies; genre studies. She is currently revising her book manuscript, Case Fictions: Medical Narrative and the British Novel and co-editing a collection of case histories (with Jason Tougaw and Jeanette Herrle-Fanning) called Writing Disease: Medical Case Histories Before Freud. She is the book review editor of the Journal of Medical Humanities.
