I am currently a 4th year medical student at NYU School of Medicine. I will be starting an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at NYU this summer. I am working on a Rudin fellowship this year that explores the representation of female genital mutilation/cutting in literature as well as the bioethical principles surrounding this practice.
