GOAL: To talk about love - its meaning and place in our lives.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Students will 1) examine how love is portrayed in literature, music, film, art, media; 2) compare beliefs, expectations and interpretations of love 3) discuss the impact of love on one's health and happiness; and 4) generate a personal definition of love.

METHOD OF INSTRUCTION: In-class discussion of reading, film, and art and writing exercises in and out of class.
