Syllabi: History of Medicine II 2000-2001 INSTITUTION: Oregon Health Sciences University FACULTY: Martin Donohoe, M.D., F.A.C.P. TIME: Fridays, 12:15-1pm LOCATION: Basic Science Building 4340 COURSE REQUIREMENTS: This course covers the history of developments in clinical medicine and is designed to follow the pathophysiology of disease curriculum. Students are expected to gain enhanced appreciation for the rich history of the profession, a deeper understanding of major developments in basic science and patient care, and augmented perspective on how medicine might change throughout their careers. Instructors have been chosen based on their expertise and experience in various fields of medicine.Grading will be pass/fail, based on attendance and class participation. No more than two absences per quarter to pass.
