[Required: (a) Professionalism (16 hours including some history of medicine (Yr-1)
(b) "Death and Dying" one day, eight-hour course (Yr 2)
(c) "Pain Seminar" one and a half day 15 hour course (Yr 2)
(d) Ethics classes woven into most third year rotations --geriatrics, pediatrics, ob/gyn, family medicine, psychiatry
e) Each fourth year student must make a 30-45 minute presentation in humanities and social sciences in small groups throughout the year.]
